He is working as an Associate Professor of Marketing, Design Thinking and Strategy and is also the H.O.D. of Marketing Management, he teaches Marketing Management, Product and Brand Management, Strategic Marketing and Design Thinking, He mentors students on Research, Strategy, Leadership, Entrepreneurship. He is the Founder President of the M.E.T. PGDM Marketing Club, MET PGDM Nature Club, he supervises Social-media communication and is also the Convenor and IPR in-charge of the Institution’s Innovation Council at M.E.T. Institute of PGDM.

He has managed a National role for the portfolio of Brand Management, Marketing Communication, Marketing Research, Due Diligence studies for businesses like Sahara Qing City, Sahara Q-Shop retail, Q-FMCG, Q-Home Appliances, Sahara Edunguru -online education and Sahara Winds -e-commerce initiative. He has been instrumental in new businesses research, creating 5 key TV ad-campaigns and new corporate mascot. He managed a team of Communication personnel, several advertising agencies, media agencies, production houses, designers and choreographers for 360o ATL & BTL communication. He has managed SEO, SEM and SMM campaigns, managed several Indian celebrities for corporate advertising in an annual marketing budget of Rs. 200 Crores plus.

He managed a National Role for Profit centre management, Strategic planning, Brand management, Integrated Marketing Communication, Marketing Research, P&L management,  with a team of 10 managers for separate functions to drive the business and create effective Marketing solutions for clientele from diverse industries.

He managed a National role in Consumer Durables business for Brand management, Product life-cycle management, Pricing, Marketing Research, Integrated Marketing communication and Quality Management Systems. Created several new products, ATL & BTL ad-campaign and worked to win major Marketing awards for the company from 2007-10. He contributed to grow the Fans business from Rs.180 Crores to Rs.450 Crores in 4 years. He contributed to create several new product categories of which Bajaj-Disney Fans for kids was the biggest success as a co-branded venture with Walt Disney Company. He played a key role in getting Quality Management certification for Head-Office functions of Marketing Management, Sales Management and Supply Chain Management. He was an integral part of CRM Automation function in the organisation working in collaboration with Oracle Corporation. He won the Chairman’s Award in 2008 for his commendable contribution in Marketing Management.

He managed India and South-East Asia markets for the role of International trading, Product Management, Strategic Marketing, P&L management of Inorganic Chemicals business. He grew the Soda-Ash business by 28% in South-East Asia. He worked in partnership with multi-billion-dollar companies like Tata Chemicals, Unilever and Asahi Glass to grow Inorganic Chemicals business.

His responsibilities were Sales Management and Business Development, P&L management in Mumbai market with a team of 5 Sales Executives.

 


HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LTD

His responsibilities were Sales Management, market evaluation and expansion, Retail trade Management, Logistics and Sales promotion for Power Brands range of FMCG products in Chhattisgarh state and Mumbai City. He managed a team of 5 distributors, 8 salesmen and 12 retail-merchandisers. He contributed sales growth of 35% in Mumbai.
